How it works

Make a promise
Gym by 7. Bed by midnight. That thing you keep putting off. Pick the days, the deadline, and who's watching.
Prove it
Tap to check in, snap a photo, or be in the right place. Before the deadline, by our clock, not your phone's.
Or get grassed
Miss it and your snitch gets the news in their Snitching inbox. They can react. They will react.
Pick your snitch
Add a mate by their @username, or send them a link to join. They say yes first, and they can stop any time.
When you flop, they hear about it straight away, in the tone you picked. When you keep your promise, they see that too. Nobody sees what you promised except the snitch you picked for it.
Better with mates
Start a board with your gym lot, your uni flat, your family group chat. Everyone makes the same promise. One table, worst first.
Photos go to the board for a vote. Every week someone gets crowned Flop of the Week. You don't want to be Flop of the Week.

Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Make promises, pick snitches, join boards and get grassed, all free. Dobdob Pro adds extras: more promises and boards at once, every snitch tone, texts to snitches who aren't on Dobdob, and an extra appeal each month.
Does my snitch need the app?
It's best if they do: they get your flops free in their Snitching inbox and can react. If they're not on Dobdob, you can send them a link to join. With Pro, Dobdob can text them instead.
Who can see my promises?
Only the snitch you picked for that promise, and the members of a board for board promises. Your mates see your level and streaks, never what you promised.
Can I cheat by changing my phone's clock?
No. Deadlines run on our server's clock, and photos are checked. Go on, try it.
What if I flopped but actually did it?
Appeal it from the app. You get one appeal a month (two with Pro). It clears the flop, but anyone already told still knows.
Where does it work?
Everywhere. Deadlines follow your phone's timezone, so 9pm stays 9pm when you travel.
How do I get it on iPhone?
While we're in beta, iPhone goes through TestFlight, Apple's app for trying new apps. Tap "Get it on iPhone", install TestFlight if asked, then tap Install. Step by step.
